Osama M. Ahmed, M.D.

Osama is an ophthalmology resident at the Kellogg Eye Center of the University of Michigan. He completed his undergraduate education at The University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a degree in biophysics, and at The Wharton School, where he earned a degree in economics, and his medical education at the Yale School of Medicine. He is very passionate about medical education and has authored a peer reviewed article on how to optimize preclinical medical education. He loves to mentor undergraduates and medical students and best utilize technology to improve teaching.

Eric S. Li, B.S.

Eric is a 3rd-year medical student at the Yale School of Medicine who will be applying into Ophthalmology. He also completed his undergraduate education at Yale University where he earned a degree in biochemistry and biophysics. He is invested in improving medical education, co-led the medical education interest group, and helped establish a preclinical medical education elective. He also enjoys mentoring undergraduate students. 

Muhammad B. Qureshi, B.S.

Muhammad is a 3rd year medical student at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at Wayne State University, where he earned a degree in finance at the Mike Ilitch School of Business. He has a passion for teaching and loves mentoring students interested in medicine. He has served as a teaching assistant and helped design several educational initiatives during medical school. Within ophthalmology, he is interested in exploring scalable solutions to improve eye care globally.

Ninani Kombo, M.D.

Dr. Kombo is a uveitis specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist at Yale Ophthalmology, and serves as the director of medical student education in Ophthalmology at Yale School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Yale School of Medicine and the Yale Residency in Ophthalmology, where she twice received the Patrick Matthews Award for humanism in medicine. She completed her Uveitis fellowship with Dr. Stephen Foster at the Massachusetts Eye Research & Surgery Institution (MERSI), associated with Harvard Medical School.
